Steven Holt MBA DipM MCIM, DipTESOL, Director
Steven is a director of English Study Breaks with responsibility for student services and schools liaison. He ensures that students are fully supported throughout their stay in the UK and provides the link with the schools and colleges that our customers attend. Should any problems arise students should contact Steven in the first instance.
Steven is a qualified English language teacher with an extensive background as an educator, firstly as a training manager in the transportation industry and then as an independent consultant and university tutor.

Praewpun (Poppy) Holt MBA, Director
Poppy is also a director of English Study Breaks with specific responsibility for sales and marketing in east and south east Asia.
Poppy holds dual British and Thai citizenship and enjoyed a successful career in industry before emigrating to the UK in 2001. She often travels back to Thailand on business and to see her large extended family.
Marketing and Student Support Team
Nhi Vu Van
Nhi Vu Van is Vietnamese and spent five years in university learning French literature and a couple years working as a merchandiser in garment industry before moving to UK. She is our Vietnam manager with responsibility for marketing and customer services in Vietnam. She also provides student support for ESB’s Vietnamese students in the UK.
Shen
Shen is our China manager with responsibility for marketing and customer services in China. She also provides student support for ESB’s Chinese students in the UK. Shen has extensive experience of the education systems in England and China as both a student and a teacher. She is a graduate of one of China’s most prestigious language universities and holds two masters degrees from leading English universities. She is currently a language instructor at Leeds University and also provides private tuition to business clients.
Han Chiang Ch’ng
Han Chiang Ch’ng is our Malaysia specialist with responsibility for marketing and customer services in Malaysia. He also provides student support for ESB’s Malaysian students in the UK. Han is recent International Business graduate and speaks Cantonese, Mandarin and Hokkien.
Dr Shahrzad (Shaz) Zargari
Dr Shahrzad (Shaz) Zargari is our Iran manager. She is an Iranian national and holds a PhD. in Chemical Engineering from Leeds University. Nowadays she lives in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, with her husband Jim and their three children. Shaz is our Persian language expert with responsibility for promoting ESB in Iran. She also provides student support for ESB’s Iranian students in the UK.

Sarah Yunmi Tae
Sarah Yunmi Tae is our Korea manager in charge of marketing and customer services in Korea. After receiving her primary education in New Zealand and her secondary education in Korea she is currently studying at the University of York. She speaks Korean and provides student support for ESB’s Korean students in the UK.

Zeynep Aslanhan
Zeynep is our Turkey Manager and has been living in the UK for the past three years. She is doing her MBA Master`s in London. Zeynep worked for a major pharmaceutical company for five years before moving to London. She is responsible for promoting English Study Breaks in Turkey and for providing support for ESB’s Turkish students in the UK.
Christine Beardsworth
Christine is a UK national and grew up in Lancashire in the north west of England. She studies at the University of Manchester but is currently living in Montpellier, France. Christine is a biologist and works in a university laboratory as a researcher until June when she will return to England. She has helped a number of french students settle into Manchester but now supports French students for ESB throughout their stay in the UK and is responsible for ESB promotion in France.
Christine est originaire du Royaume Uni et a grandi dans le Lancashire dans le Nord Ouest de l’Angleterre. Elle est étudiante de l’université de Manchester mais en ce moment elle habite à Montpellier, en France. Christine étudie la biologie et travaille dans un laboratoire universitaire comme chercheuse, et ce jusqu’en juin quand elle rentrera en Angleterre. Ella a aidé de nombreux Français à s’installer à Manchester mais à présent elle soutient des étudiants français pour ESB tout au long de leurs séjours linguistiques. Elle est aussi responsable de la promotion de ESB en France.

Andreea Stoica
Andreea is our Romania Manager. She has been living in the UK for the past two years and is studying Architecture at Birmingham Institute of Art and Design. Andreea is responsible for promoting ESB in Romania and providing support for our Romanian students in the UK. She also speaks fluent Spanish.

Marie Gloesener
Marie comes from Belgium. She currently studies Music in Guildford, but before that she spent a year in Germany and America learning languages. She is in charge of promoting ESB in Belgium (and the north of France) and provides support for Belgian students in the UK.
Marie est originaire de Belgique. Elle étudie actuellement la musique à Guildford, mais elle a auparavant passé une année en Allemagne et aux Etats-Unis afin approfondir ses connaissances en langues. Elle est responsable de la promotion d’ESB en Belgique (et dans le Nord de la France) et apporte également son soutien aux étudiants belges au Royaume-Uni.

Aurora Joy Lutella
AJ Lutella is in charge of ESB’s sales and marketing in the Philippines and support for its Filipino students in the UK. She holds a degree in Legal Management from the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines and has more than 10 years’ experience in public relations. She is currently in London and finishing her MBA Degree from the University of Wales Institute Cardiff (UWIC).
Si AJ Lutella ang namamahala sa sales at marketing sa Pilipinas at sa suporta para sa mga estudyanteng Pilipino sa UK. Siya ay nagtapos ng AB Legal Management sa University of Santo Tomas at may higit 10 taon na karanasan sa public relations. Siya ay kasalukuyang nasa London at tinatapos ang MBA degree mula sa University of Wales Institute Cardiff (UWIC).
